Eurologos: a global company with glocalized computer resources

Eurologos offices are equipped with several computer platforms (mostly PC-compatible platforms, Macintosh).
We use XHTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), XML (eXtensible Metadata Platform), XMP (extensible Metadata Platform) and, among others, MySQL for databases. The RSS pages are created by using XML files which are interpreteed by web browsers.
Dynamic pages such as ASP (Active Server Page), Coldfusion, PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) or JSP (Java Server Page) are also part of our abilities.

We also use FTP/HTTP protocols, of course, for daily communication with our clients and suppliers.

Eurologos-Brussels (as well as every other Eurologos office) delivers texts, translations, revisions, modifications, and rewritings, according to the layout of the source text or by "overwriting"; thereby always respecting the client's instructions.

The most frequently used software programs for layout, DTP or graphics are PowerPoint, PageMaker, QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Freehand, Coreldraw, InDesign, Framemaker and Flash.

We have also created a PHP-based system: the CMS (Content Management System) which allows new pages to be created and updates to be made very quickly.

The development system we use the most is Web 2.0.

We use the following graphic design software for the Web: Eclipse, HomeSite, Dreamweaver Ultradev, Golive and Coldfusion Studio.

We also have various Windows networks (Microsoft XP client) for Trados (terminology and translation aid), IBM Translation Manager, Déjà-Vu, Systran (world leader in automatic translation), Customer Databases, Cubic, etc.

Eurologos, in addition, is constantly committed to updating its equipment - hardware and software - in order to always be perfectly compatible with the computers and computer structures of all its clients.
